Resources for Schema Comparison

Before we learn about how to do a schema comparison using SwisSQL DBChangeManager, lets have a quick introduction on the various comparison resources that are supported by DBChangeManager. DBChangeManger currently supports the following resource types for comparison:

Live Database: Any live SQL Server Database can be used as a resource for Comparison and Synchronization. DBChangeManager provides option to connect to live databases either via Windows Authentication or through SQL Server Authentication.
SQL Script File: SQL Scipt file of any SQL Server database schema can be provided as a source for schema comparison. As of Release 4.5, SQL Script files can also be synchronized.
